These Terms govern your use of RankPilot ("the App"), a Shopify application that reviews a store's product catalog for SEO gaps and generates suggested meta titles, meta descriptions, and image alt text for your review. By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms.
The App reads your product catalog through Shopify's Admin API to score it and draft suggested metadata. It writes changes back to Shopify only for the specific fields you review and approve, and only ever to SEO meta fields and image alt text — never to your product titles, descriptions, images, prices, or inventory. Auto-pilot, when enabled, checks new and changed products and queues suggestions for your review; it does not write to your store on its own.
Suggested copy is produced by an AI model (Anthropic) from your product data. It may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing every suggestion before approving it, and approved text becomes your content. The App does not guarantee any particular search ranking, traffic, click-through, or revenue outcome.
Paid plans (Starter and Pro) are billed through Shopify's billing system on a recurring monthly basis, following any free trial. Pricing is shown in the App and on the Shopify App Store listing. You can cancel at any time from your Shopify admin; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Charges made through Shopify are subject to Shopify's refund handling.
Do not use the App to violate any law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure. We may suspend access for conduct that threatens the service or other merchants.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankPilot and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the three months before the claim.
You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. On uninstall, or on a Shopify
shop/redact request, the data we hold for your shop is permanently deleted, as
described in the Privacy Policy.
